Château d’Oche uses personal information only where it is needed to answer enquiries, operate Blanche, manage visits and reservations, protect the website and provide requested services.

Information you provide

When you make an enquiry, we may receive names, email address, telephone number, preferred dates, flexibility, guest numbers, proposed length of stay, planning preference, source of enquiry and any message you choose to provide. When you use Blanche, we may also store your first name, conversation content, session identifier, language, timestamps and any contact details you later provide for a handoff to the château team.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to you, understand your plans, arrange visits or calls, manage your request, maintain an accurate record of enquiries and conversations, prevent abuse and improve the usefulness of the service. We do not require unrelated marketing consent as a condition of making an enquiry.

Blanche and service providers

Blanche is an AI-assisted concierge restricted to Château d’Oche’s approved information. Conversation text may be processed by OpenAI in order to generate a response. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information when human verification is required. Hosting, email and other technical providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services. Where information is processed outside the European Economic Area, appropriate transfer safeguards are used where required.

Retention and security

We retain enquiry and conversation information only for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, protect the service and meet legal obligations. Access to administrative records is restricted. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but reasonable technical and organisational measures are used.

Your rights

Under applicable data-protection law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL. To exercise a privacy right or ask a question, contact welcome@chateau-oche.com.
